Cookie & Browser Storage Policy

Effective 6 September 2026. The public How2Host site is intentionally designed without advertising or cross-site profiling cookies.

Current use

No advertising cookies. No behavioural profiling.

How2Host does not intentionally place advertising cookies or use the public website to build cross-site marketing profiles. The site may use strictly necessary browser storage for security, form operation, navigation state and user-interface preferences.

Cookie notice

The notice itself needs one small preference record.

When you dismiss the cookie notice, the site stores a local browser preference named h2h-cookie-notice so the notice does not reappear on every page. This value records only that the notice was acknowledged; it does not identify you or track browsing across websites.

Client area

The billing portal is a separate service surface.

When you follow a link to billing.how2.host, the billing application may need essential session, authentication, security or preference cookies to operate. Any additional analytics or third-party processing enabled there should be described by the policy applicable to that service.

Future changes

Optional analytics will not be silently added to this policy.

If How2Host later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking, this policy and the consent interface should be updated before that tracking is enabled where consent is required.
