Terms of Service

Effective 6 September 2026. These are the general terms for How2Host services. A quotation, order form, SLA or signed agreement can add service-specific terms and will control where it expressly conflicts with these Terms.

1. Contracting party

How2Host is the service brand; the order identifies the legal contracting party.

How2Host is used as the operating service brand. The applicable quotation, order form or agreement identifies the legal contracting party, authorized signatory and customer. Where services are contracted through TECHNO SCREEN CERAMIC, that name will appear in the commercial document. Nothing on this website represents How2Host as a separately incorporated company or formally registered trade name.

2. Orders and provisioning

A service begins from an accepted scope, not from website copy alone.

Hardware, location, power, bandwidth, IP resources, management, backup, support, billing cycle, taxes, deposits and deployment dates are governed by the accepted order. Provisioning remains subject to technical feasibility, resource availability, upstream approval and any required verification. Estimates are not guarantees unless the applicable agreement says they are.

3. Customer responsibilities

Customers remain responsible for their accounts, workloads and lawful use.

You must provide accurate information, protect credentials, maintain authorized contacts and use services in accordance with law and the Acceptable Use Policy. Unless expressly included as a managed service, you are responsible for operating systems, applications, software licensing, data, firewall rules, application security and backups.

4. Network and IP resources

Connectivity and public addresses are subject to technical and upstream rules.

Public IPv4 allocation may require identity verification, justification and upstream approval. IP addresses are assigned for use with the service and are not sold or transferred to the customer. Bandwidth, routing, DDoS mitigation scope and network service levels are only those stated in the applicable order or SLA.

5. Colocation equipment

Customer-owned hardware stays customer property.

For colocation, title to customer equipment remains with the customer. The customer must disclose relevant chassis, PSU, power-draw and remote-management requirements. How2Host may refuse unsafe, incompatible or materially misdescribed equipment. If direct physical damage to customer equipment is proven to have been caused by How2Host negligence, mishandling or provider-controlled infrastructure, liability for that physical equipment is governed by the signed colocation agreement, including any documented replacement-value commitment stated there.

6. Dedicated hardware

Provider-owned dedicated hardware remains provider property.

Dedicated hardware is supplied for the service term and is not transferred to the customer unless a written sale says otherwise. How2Host is responsible for provider-owned physical hardware within the responsibility stated in the applicable SLA. Hardware replacement, migration and maintenance procedures may vary by service.

7. Billing, suspension and cancellation

Commercial terms come from the accepted order.

Recurring charges, usage charges, deposits, due dates, taxes, renewal, notice periods and cancellation terms are stated in the quotation or agreement. Unpaid services may be restricted, suspended or terminated after applicable notices and grace periods. Suspension does not erase charges already incurred. Customer-owned equipment is not transferred to How2Host merely because an account is overdue.

8. Availability and maintenance

Only a written SLA creates an uptime or response commitment.

Website descriptions are not an uptime guarantee. Scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, customer configuration, customer-owned hardware failure, upstream or third-party events outside reasonable control, attacks beyond the contracted mitigation scope and force-majeure events may be excluded where the applicable SLA says so. Service credits, if any, are the remedy defined by that SLA.

9. Backups and data

A backup service is not automatically disaster recovery.

Backup exists only when ordered or expressly included. Retention, frequency, storage location and restore scope must be stated in the order. Customers should maintain independent copies of important data. How2Host does not guarantee that deleted, corrupted or unavailable data can be recovered unless a written agreement expressly provides that guarantee.

10. Abuse and security

We may act quickly to protect networks and third parties.

How2Host may investigate credible abuse or security reports and may filter traffic, isolate a system, suspend service or require remediation when reasonably necessary to protect infrastructure, upstream providers, customers or third parties. Urgent action may occur before notice where delay would materially increase risk.

11. Liability

Liability is tied to the contracted service and applicable law.

Except for obligations expressly accepted in a signed agreement and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, How2Host is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss such as lost profits, lost business or loss of opportunity. Any general monetary cap or service-specific exception should be read from the signed commercial agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Changes and law

Material terms are published with an effective date.

These Terms may be updated for legal, security, operational or service changes. The version in force when a service is ordered applies subject to later changes accepted or lawfully applied. Unless a signed agreement provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
